Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational university with 5,400 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. Consistently ranked among the best universities by U.S. News & World Report, Quinnipiac (pronounced KWIN-uh-pe-ack) offers 52 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs plus the JD program. Quinnipiac's mission is to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for the intellectual and personal growth of undergraduate, graduate and continuing education students.
Quinnipiac is where professors who want to know students by name come to teach, and where students who want a personal, challenging education come to learn. At Quinnipiac, students are our first, second and third priorities.
Quinnipiac offers the best of small-town spirit. You'll feel it the moment a huge team of upperclassmen help you unload your car and move into your freshman residence. You'll feel it at meals-faculty and students eat in the same dining hall. And you'll feel it in our small classes.
Located next to the picturesque Sleeping Giant Mountain in Hamden, Conn., 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Boston, Quinnipiac's campus is an architectural gallery of modern brick buildings and sweeping lawns. Our remarkable facilities include the Terry W. Goodwin '67 Financial Technology Center and a fully digital high-definition broadcast studio. We're also home to the nationally renowned Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
