School Description
Provided by DePaul University
Located in the heart of Chicago, DePaul is America's largest Catholic university and the largest private university in the Midwest. Our faculty are known for their scholarship and research-four are Fulbright Scholars this year-but teaching is their passion.
DePaul offers a high caliber, challenging learning environment that is respected by employers, community leaders and other universities. Many of our more than 250 graduate and undergraduate programs of study have earned national acclaim. Most importantly, more than 93 percent of employers report they are pleased with the caliber of DePaul graduates.
The Office of Mission and Values engages faculty, staff and students in ways that measurably enhance their understanding and support of DePaul's Catholic and Vincentian identity. These internal constituencies, in turn, provide the leadership that will enable DePaul to increase its strategic capacities by maximizing our strengthes as the leading urban, Catholic and Vincentian University in the United States.
With its countless resources, Chicago is an integral part of the educational experience at DePaul. The third largest city in the U.S., Chicago has over 150 years of unique history, and is a city of world-class architecture, unsurpassed beauty, and a city with enormous pride. The city offers a never-ending list of fairs, concerts, tours and outdoor activities in Chicago's many parks and, of course, on Lake Michigan.
